When using the website https://nh-g.com or https://plast-team.com or https://roomcopenhagen.com (hereafter “Our Website”) and the Tidy mobile application (hereafter ”Tidy”), Nordic Houseware Group A/S (hereafter ”NHG”, ”we”, ”us” or ”our”) process your personal data as described in this privacy policy.

We might process your personal data in relation to use of cookies, when you use Tidy, when you visit Our website or if you sign up for our newsletter and use our contact forms.

NHG processes the following information when you use Tidy:

  • Name or username chosen by you
  • E-mail address
  • Password (please note that we do not have access to your password)
  • Information related to your use of Tidy, such as connections, shared boxes, etc.
  • Photos that you choose to upload when using Tidy
  • Information on system language, user behavior in Tidy, and data related to app crashes
  • Other information that you share with us through Tidy

The personal information mentioned above is collected directly from you as a starting point.

We do not intentionally collect or process any special categories of personal data (e.g. health data, information on religious belief, etc.) covered by Article 9, GDPR.

The purpose of the processing is:

  • Providing our service, Tidy, to you
  • Providing customer and technical service, including responding to your request
  • Analyzing the use of Tidy
  • Optimizing the user experience and developing Tidy

Legal basis:

  • We process your personal data because of our legitimate interests in providing the service that you signed up for and/or in order to respond to your inquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • We might process your personal data if we are legally obliged to (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR)
  • If required, we might process your personal data based on your explicit content (Article 6(1)(a)

3.3 When visiting Our Website

When visiting Our Website, we process your personal data, if you accept cookies or in relation to strictly necessary cookies as described in section 3.1, or if you sign up for our newsletters or use our contact forms as explained in section 3.4.

3.4 When you sign up for our newsletters or use our contact forms

NHG processes the following if you sign up for our newsletter or if you use our contact forms on Our Website or in Tidy:

  • Name
  • E-mail address
  • Information that you provide to us in relation to your inquiry

The personal information mentioned above is collected directly from you as a starting point.

The purpose of the processing is to provide our newsletter as requested by you or to provide customer service, replying to inquiries, handling complaints, etc.

Legal basis:

  • After you have consented to receive our newsletter, the legal basis is our legitimate interests in providing the newsletter that you signed up for (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • Our legitimate interests in handling your inquiry or request (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • We might also process personal data, if it is necessary in order to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)

4. SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

4.1 Disclosure to third parties acting as data controllers

NHG might disclose your personal information to third parties such as subcontractors and public authorities, if necessary, in order to perform a contract which NHG is part of, if NHG have a legitimate interest in doing so or if NHG is legally obliged to. In the event of a merger or any type of sale involving NHG or NHG products and services, your personal data might be transferred or shared with our customers or with third parties involved in the transaction.

4.2 Data processors and transfer of personal data to third countries

Your personal data can be shared with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers (e.g. newsletter service providers) or other third parties, processing data on behalf of NHG (data processors).

NHG can transfer data to countries outside the EEA, when appropriate safeguards set out in GDPR, Chapter V, are in place, e.g. by the use of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. RETENTION PERIODS

We delete your personal data when it is no longer necessary to retain the data for the specified purposes in this privacy policy.

Inactive user profiles are deleted after 2 years of inactivity.

We do store some types of information for longer if we are obliged by law to do so, e.g., to comply with bookkeeping obligations (5 years).

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to ask us to confirm if we are processing your personal data and to ask for access to your personal data. In case we process data about you that is incorrect, you have the right to ask us to correct your information. You also have the right to ask us to delete your information/profile or restrict how we process your information and to object to our processing of your information. Further, you have the right to data portability. If you wish to exercise your rights or have any questions regarding this policy, or if you wish to delete your profile, please contact us using the contact information provided in section 2.

If we process your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
